Thursday (20/10), the Amitabh Bachchan has reportedly received an honorary degree from Queensland University of Technology (QUT) Australia.
"I am very pleased to receive it," said Aishwarya Rai-law of this when he received his fourth doctorate for his contribution in the field of entertainment.
"The recognition I get for my contribution in the Indian film industry and efforts to reach international class mebuat I am filled with pride and gratitude, proud to be able to bridge India and Australia in the field of film and creative industries and gratitude for the opportunity to do so. This award is the fourth award received by the father of Abishek Bachchan came after he had received an award from De Montfort University of Leicester in England, University of Jhansi and Delhi University in India.
The actor was refused a degree from a top university in Australia as a form of protest against racism that attacked Indian students.
Commissioner of Australia highest for India, Peter Varghese congratulated Bollywood star is the title she won.
